More information about this house sitter

Hi,

My name is Swantje and I am a literary translator from Germany, staying in Australia for about a year. I had two dogs back in Germany. I was devastated when they passed away and I could not imagine having another dog. I wanted my doggies back. I knew that is impossible and I knew I could not live without a dog. Not forever. So, I decided that I need a change of scenery before I can let another dog into my life and my heart. It did help already.

I have just been house and dog sitting for a friend in Blackheath in the Blue Mountains. Leaving them after 6 weeks was a bit like losing a dog (again). But it was the best job I ever had!

Zani, a labradoodle, missed me when I was gone. Even though this is a good sign I felt very sad. Her owner sent me a reference letter which you can find in my profile.

I am staying in Townsville until January 5th. I am looking for another housesitter job after January 6th until I leave January 11th for New Zealand.

I would love to hear from you and your pets!

Warm regards
Swantje
