Hi, we are genuine, honest, active, fit, non-smoking mature professionals who own our 100-acre property in SE Qld and understand the value of genuine sitters.

We are living our dream of travelling Australia and want to support farmers who need to be reassured their property, livestock and furbabies are well loved.

My husband, Gordon, is a semi-retired cattle grazier and builder, born on the land, with vast experience in:

- Cattle, horses, livestock in general & working dogs.
- Experience with all farm machinery, tractors, slashers, side-by-sides, quads etc.
- Can fix, mend, repair fences, pumps, bores, leaky taps - just about anything - and is a golfing fanatic.
- We are prepared for the unexpected - as things 'happen' on farms, livestock & pets - we will leap into action (plus double check or notify you as required)

Me: I adore the great outdoors, all creatures great and small (except snakes!) with a passion for photography - birds & wildlife - and art.

- We adore travelling this great land and are fully self-sufficient with a camper trailer and quad.

- Would welcome hook-up to power & water, use of washing machine & bathroom/shower appreciated or stay in your home is always appreciated. Your choice.

Depending on the location, we may even be travelling with our adored miniature schnauzer, Barney, who is very well-behaved, house-trained and he is used to being around other dogs, cattle and on a farm.

We appreciate your needs:

- We are non-smokers, retired and like the quiet life.
- We adore immersing ourselves in local community, meeting the neighbours, explore the area etc
- We will look after your home, pets, livestock and property like it is our own.
- Believe us, we have our own farm/property and have had rental properties for years.
- We genuinely appreciate fabulous housesitters & as much as good tenants.
- We have farm sitters look after our 100 acre property when we are away, so know the importance of regular updates & communication.
- We are actively involved with our local community and are currently President and Secretary of the Glastonbury Hall & Recreation Association.

From 2024 and beyond we are looking for:
- Longer-term stays on rural properties and stations are always of interest to help those in Australia's remote communities.
- You can have peace of mind all is in good care and relax during your well-deserved break.
