Hi from us….Margy and Wayne,

I’ll try my best to give you a picture of the type of people we are!
Wayne and I have been married coming up 40 years. Not sure who deserves the medal! We have lived on the far south coast of NSW for 27 years and consider ourselves extremely lucky to be here, except during fire season!

Wayne is really easy going, loves all sports, particularly motor racing, AFL (GO BOMBERS) and cricket. He grew up on a farm so can turn his hand to basically anything. Wayne retired this year from his job of 27 years as a business manager. Now he loves nothing more than tinkering in the shed, fixing up his XE Falcon ute.
PLEASE help me get him out of that shed!

I’m probably the more outgoing (okay…more talkative) of the two…a bit of a clown so I’m told. Love spending my spare time doing art, reading and catching up with my girlfriends.

We have 4 kids and 2 grand kids, all who live in Melbourne, along with many other family members, so we travel that way often.
Another important member of our family is Judy.
She is a 9 year-old King Charles Cavalier who came to work with me as the school companion dog. The kids and staff loved her so much and I think they miss her more than they do me!! She will be coming with us on our travels.

I was a primary school teacher for 40 years and retired this year. Loved the job, loved the kids and loved my colleagues.

Since retirement, both Wayne and I have gained our RSA, worked casually behind the bar at the local horse races and are currently ride attendants at the Amusement Park here on the far south coast of NSW.

Our retirement plan was always to work part of the year, save some money in order to travel in our caravan the rest of the year.

We began house/pet sitting last year. Once in the Qld Scenic Rim on a small farm and once in the NSW Blue Mountains.
During these sits we cared for the properties, the chooks, cows, dogs, cat and goldfish.
They were extended stays of around 3 weeks which we absolutely loved! Gave us the time needed to really get to know the animals.
One sit we stayed in our caravan, the other we were in the house. Happy to do whatever suits the host family.
