Hi, I'm Jo, a happy 70yr old lady who loves all manner domestic & farm animals.

Animals are simply facinating.
My earliest memory, is standing at the fence, watching our dairy cows graze.

Growing up, family life provided a natural progression of learning to care for all kinds of animals & farm management.

I have owned dogs since I was 7yrs old, mostly Fox Terriers Smooth & Wire Haired, Poodles, Shitzu, and have gathered lots of experience with many dog breeds & understand their various attributes & natures.
I very much enjoy working with dogs in general.
I'm often caring for small breed dogs with sensitive a nature, I adore putting them at ease.
I have also owned lots of cats over the years, & certainly do love getting to know each cat's personality & indulging their preferences...not such a bad pass the time eh?

Over the years, I have cared for fish, turtles, frogs, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, quail, canaries & angus limousin cattle, I'm also a beekeeper.

As a non smoking, retired homebody who listens to soft Jazz, I'm neat, clean & like to discreetly develop an ease within your home, as I care for your beautiful pets & plants.

I will care for your pets as you would, after all, they are the reason I will be in your home & always happy to maintain any activity your pet likes or requires:- walks, dog park, coffee outings, car rides, or lounging while being groomed, cuddled & loved.
Just tell me & it will be done.

Should you choose me, I will also enjoy taking a good photo or two to send to you with my update on pets & home.

Background
Forth generation Sydney dairy farming family, Studied Costume & Design, then General Nursing.
Moved to Byron Shire in 1980.
We hand built 2 houses & established & operated small farms for 30 yrs.
I have three sons, a daughter, a grandson & a grandaughter.
Why I pet sit:-
These days, I'm choosing a lighter, more varied existance, peppered with travel.
Therefore, I have recently put my house on the market, minimised possessions to live a flexible retired existence.

My Pet sitting lifestyle, began in August 2024.
It suits me, I still get to love & care for animals, while helping lovely people whom I enjoy meeting.
