Hey there! My name is Shannon. I am 26 years old and have been a popular, trusted house and pet (mainly dog) sitter among my friends and family for many years. I have been with an online pet minding platform called pawshake for about a year now and love this kind of life style for myself because i get to hang out with animals outside of my work hours!

I Do work outside of pet minding but i treat your home as if it was just another friends house who needs a hand with their pet and home while there away. My hours are Tuesday- Friday 12-7.30pm. My free time will be spent with your animals and in your home.

I don't have restrctions on what kind of pet or dog i can look after, all i can do is meet you and your dog/pet; ask you your specifications and if if doesnt suit us both then its not meant to be i will say so. I prefer honesty, if your dog is anxious, tell me....if he's too anxious for me, i will say so :) (just as an example- and I am yet to meet an animals that’s been too hard for me !) if you dont like my approach, lets just talk about it so there is no mis communication. Transparency is key!! If you want to get in touch while your away, or if you want daily updates i can do all of that. i understand that these animals are your family, and i love the energy and nature that you get with animals company, its something else! Plus, i understand that they need more than food and a pat once a day!

I will Walk in the morning before work, feed after walk (if thats what you require, depends on your pet)

After work,I will come back to your home, take the dog to the park (if you dont take them to parks that's fine i can just walk them or play ball in the back yard or house etc) for a good hour or so, then chill out in the evening and make my own dinner, feed the pets, chill, listen to music, read or i will do some yoga or something with the company of the pet and then go to bed. (i will respect how you care for your pet and leave them outside or on the couch, or in the bathroom or on the bed whatever you prefer)

i will ask for your advice on how you like to care for your dog or pet, as i understand some peoples rules are different to others. it’s not that I’m not co Disney to care for them, I just know that a big change in routine can cause stress to the animals.

I love taking pets for a drive or a bush walk / beach day when the weather is nice, but only if youre okay with such.

The picture of myself and the little white maltese cross caviler was my best friend for 18 years before she moved on to the next life. So if you want somebody caring but who can also follow instruction to your liking then give me a buzz, id love to see if i can help!
