Easing into retirement we are a happy, animal and nature loving couple, looking to spend more time on the road seeing this wonderful country. We currently live on the Sunshine Coast and regularly use house sitters so we know what to expect and take the responsibility seriously of caring for other peoples' houses/gardens/pets, as we do our own.
We are both very active, fit and healthy (non-smokers of course) and keen runners/cyclists and hikers. We have a very well behaved Aussie Shepherd that goes everywhere with us and sleeps in our self contained van with us, so as long as there is somewhere to park it we are more than happy to live in the van, if that suits.
Anna works part time remotely so connectivity is a must for us, whether it's acceptable mobile service in the area or home internet/wifi.
In past lives, we have been dairy farmers (long story), horse riders, dog breeders, and still are cat owners and passionate gardeners, currently developing a sub-tropical paradise at home on top of a productive food garden, so we can be reasonably sure we'd be comfortable with anything you need us to take care of while you're away.
