More information about this house sitter

We are both new to house sitting but want to try it to enjoy different parts of the country and mostly have no time schedule.
Both love animals (I grew up with several) and look forward to enjoying pet sitting
I do research and can think up various improvements while my mate who was an aircraft maintenance engineer has become a handyman since his retirement.
We are both Aussies, but I have been working overseas for some years until recently while my mate has been doing handyman work for extended family and has got their properties looking top rate.
My mate still owns his home while I sold mine before going overseas to work
My wife is still overseas while my mate’s wife is still working, so we are taking this very rare opportunity to experience different parts of the country together.
We are both non-smokers but do enjoy a drink or two and lively conversation.
