SHE SAID WHAT!!!!

"She said she comes with NO pets, NO dramas, NO crazy ex's, NO search warrants, NO noisy muffler, NO stinky shoes and NO hang-er-on-er-ers."

Oh. So what does she come with....

"She said one suitcase, one laptop, two fat pillows, a pair of fancy sheets, a couple of fluffy towels, two odd socks and a bucket load of pride, trust, responsibility, accountability and that little old thing called respect for other people's property!"

So there you have it. That's me in a nutshell. On a more serious note, I have been a proud home and pet owner for over 30 years. My home in the Noosa Hinterland has long been my haven. I have helped out many friends over the years by minding their homes or pets when they were away. Happy to provide confirmation of that.

So it got me thinking. Why not take my love of words, my passion for meeting new friends both 2 and 4 legged and my wealth of life experiences, on the road. So last year I handed over my house keys to someone else whilst I pursue my love of writing and new adventures as a solo housesitter.

All I really need is your assurance that your roof does not leak, your pooch or two won't rip my leg off when I walk in the front door, and there is reliable internet access to do my work, check my emails and continue my writing.

I have my health, my walking shoes and an itching to take this house and pet sitting experience by the horns and bring some great memories and fun stories into both our days.

2017 began my magical mystery tour year. I hope your home - your haven, and your beloved pets will also become part of my story. It's a mutual handshake we give to one another to trust and be trusted. I won't let you down. I'm actually really quite excited to meet you.
