A little about me and my journey so far...
With a lifelong passion for swimming, I competed with dedication at Abingdon Vale Swimming Club for 5 years as a child, participating in numerous galas.

During college, I earned my NPLQ lifeguard certification, working part-time in that capacity. While at university, I seized the opportunity to join Camp America, spending two summers in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, as a lifeguard and general counsellor.

After obtaining a graphic design degree, I further qualified as a Level One swim teacher. This led to my role as Waterfront Director at Camp Half Moon, managing lakefront activities such as sailing, kayaking, water-skiing, paddle boarding, and general swimming. I travelled the vast country after camp and found myself managing to tick off 12 cities in 11 different states before returning to the UK to start my creative career.

My creative journey began at a local magazine, where a supportive manager mentored and encouraged my growth. Transitioning to Bonhams, a well-known auction house, exposed me to a fast-paced setting, refining my project prioritisation and organisational skills for team efficiency. During my employment there, I secured diverse illustration and logo projects, such as creating signage for Goodwood and designing a logo for a Bonhams and F1 collaboration auction. These experiences were instrumental in evolving my creative expertise and contributing to the dynamic and varied projects that shaped my early career.

For three months, I served as the creative designer for a innovative furniture brand, crafting their brand guidelines. I very much enjoyed the job, however the urge to travel was increasing rapidly and so I fulfilled a longstanding desire and made the bold decision to relocate to Australia. Read more...
