Hi there,
We are Wendy and Rob. A married couple of 39 years, and also lucky enough to be semi-retired and enjoying the opportunities to travel and see many new and exciting places here in Australia and abroad.
We have found that we have enjoyed the housesitting experience and have met many household fur babies, and not forgetting the farm animals too, and their very passionate homeowners, like ourselves, whilst home and pet sitting for over seven years.
We have our own home in Mandurah, Western Australia, which we love, but we're always on the lookout for a getaway.
We are both non-smokers and are reasonably fit. I am still working as a casual nurse, and my husband is a retired emergency response officer, also with a mechanical fitting background. We love animals and enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places. Rob and I both love to walk and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring coastal and picturesque scenery.
We are a houseproud and responsible couple who don't mind the occasional dog or cat on the bed (if required). As golden retriever owners, we are used to hair, drool, and mess that animals can make, but we look at animals as part of the family rather than pets.
If we sound like the perfect house sitters to care for your fur babies, we would be open to meeting or corresponding via FaceTime or phone so that you feel confident in your decision. Having had house sitters in our home before, we understand that it can be a scary task, but we assure you, your pets are in the best possible care with two crazy animal lovers such as ourselves.
