Hi there!

Welcome to our profile! We are Ina and Franz, a German couple looking for house and pet sitting opportunities. We are both 23-years old and study at the University of Queensland, with me being a postgraduate business major and Franz being an undergraduate economics/computer science major.

We recently faced the challenges of a tight housing market in Brisbane, which led us to our first pet-sitting experience outside of our family and friends circle. We had the privilege of taking care of a lovely home in a Brisbane suburb and a lively, 11-years old Portuguese Waterdog named Izzy from August to December 2022. We had an amazing experience with Izzy from taking her on her daily walks to giving her Athritis medicine. The owners offered us to move back in with Izzy in April when they are returning to their boat in Europe.

We are now looking for house-sitting opportunities in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide or Melbourne until then. We have a passion for pets and would love to care for your furry family members while you are away. We are non-smokers, live a healthy lifestyle, and are known for being a quiet and homely couple. Cooking and relaxing on the couch are some of our favorite activities, and we would be honored to spend our evenings with your pets by our side. As a couple, we've been a well-coordinated team for over three years, demonstrating our ability to work together effectively while sharing homes in Germany, Indonesia, and Australia.

Franz has experience with a Rhodesian Ridgeback and I have grown up with cats and birds. Our studies are fully remote until May, which means we are available to give your pets our undivided attention and love throughout the day. Franz also works part-time for an Indonesian start-up and runs his own e-commerce business in Germany and Australia. Likely at least one of us will always be with your pets at home and able to provide hourly, daily or weekly updates to you. Simple gardening work, tending for house plants or other household tasks are also not a problem for us.
