Hi Folks,
My name is James.
I have recently relocated to the Hobart region from the Northern Rivers of NSW.
I’m a loving father of two girls who live with their Mum in Hobart and their gorgeous Japanese Spitz dog.

My careers have been in carpentry, garden maintenance and 10 years in the disability support sector as a Lifestyle Assistant & carer. I’m currently working from home.

I assisted a long term client to train a Labradoodle in my Disability Support work, and learned a great deal about the role of animals in care work, as well as their needs from puppies to grown working dogs.

I have lots of experience with caring for dogs and cats, having been a pet owner and love their company whether at home or walking and exercising with dogs.
I take pride in careful work and am comfortable with and enjoy all manner of domestic duties.
I'm friendly, approachable, good humoured, honest, reliable & a clear communicator.

I'm keen to do house and pet sitting as a way for me to experience living in different locations around the Hobart region as I settle in to my new life here.
I have experience in house sitting for friends and can provide references for this as well as personal and professional references.
