I'm an ELICOS teacher, author and editor of language teaching materials. I work freelance and do sessional teaching (currently at Kaplan Business School). I moved to Australia with my family in 2019 and we initially rented in Burnside, then bought a property in the Hills. My daughter, Julia, is in Year 12 at Marryatville and our house is being renovated (slowly) by my husband. I am also trying to get some writing done. Julia and I are looking to do house-sitting within walking distance or a short bus ride from Marryatville
As for my background, I was born in the UK but I lived in Catalonia (Spain) for nearly 30 years. Dogs have always been a part of my life and we have a mini Spoodle who could come with us, but could also stay at home with my husband and son. We're looking for longish-term stays where possible. My priority is to help my daughter through Year 12 as she currently spends 3-4 hours traveling to and from school. In return for accomodation in your home, we would treat your pets with love and kindness (and firm control if need be) and would keep a very clean and tidy house. I would, however, need a reliable internet connection to allow me to work from home. My husband or son will want to stay over occasionally, so I've included a photo of them in the gallery.
