More information about this house sitter

My name is Jane. I’m a single, fit, healthy, non-smoker who has recently retired and is keen to get back to pet and house sitting after a few years at home, looking after my son’s dog.

Now sadly without a pet and with no more work ties in Canberra, I’m free to travel and to look after more pets, especially around the Sunshine Coast where I have friends and family in the area. House sitting is the best way for me to do this as I can care for, and enjoy, as many pets as possible and explore new places in an area I am becoming very fond of.

I am an active person and love walking, exercising at the gym, swimming and cycling. I am also an avid reader, a dressmaker, enjoy gardening and I participate in online U3A classes. I have few commitments and so am flexible with house sitting dates and places.

I particularly enjoy housesitting as I get to know the pets, and appreciate their characters, needs and quirks!
I have had pets my whole life and they are integral to my being now! It simply doesn't feel right to come into a home and not have a dog and/or cat meeting me at the front door or having a cuddle in the evening.

I am very house proud and always leave houses as I would like to find them. In addition, I believe the trust placed in me to care for other people’s pets and homes is a privilege to be respected at all times.

As I am returning to houe sitting, I do not have any current references yet, but will happily supply you with a fresh Australian National Charhacter Check (13/3/25) and would be available to meet you prior to the house sit. I am reliable, trustworthy and responsible and I hope you will consider me when selecting a house sitter.
