Having recently retired, I have decided to use my experience house/pet sitting for friends, to explore the state and see where I would like to settle.
I have experience minding a wide variety of pets from goats, dog and cats, to rodents and even a stick insect named Baby.
I have owned dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens and am comfortable with all types of animals.
I have my own camper van, so can sleep in my own bed if preferred but I understand that many pets are accustomed to sleeping with their owners and am happy to sleep in the house and share the bed with any 4 (or 3) legged critter.
I have a particular affinity with dogs and having previously owned a Border Collie, I am experienced in dog training and understand the importance of providing mental and physical exercise.
Having said that, I also always owned cats, appreciating their affection, companionship and independence.
I love gardening (even if my knees don’t) and am happy to undertake general maintenance.
I also have high standards when it comes to cleanliness, so you are guaranteed to return to a spotless home.
