Hello! Our names are John and Leigh.

We began our house sitting journey in 2021 (Gold Coast and Northern Rivers mostly). After a twelve month break due to family commitments, we are very happy to be able to offer our assistance again to those who may need a hand.

John and I are from Palm Beach QLD and Northern NSW respectively. We made the wonderful decision to move into our motor home nearly 3 years ago now.

Life in the motor home doesn’t easily facilitate owning a cat or pooch, which is something we miss. In light of this, we enjoy offering our services for house/pet sitting and generally have a very high degree of flexibility.

I (Leigh) have a nursing/disability support/fire brigade background. John is a professional sports photographer and has many years of teaching experience as well (Secondary School PE and Mathematics). We occasionally deliver vehicles for a fleet car company in and around SE QLD and the Northern Rivers on a casual basis.

Over the years, both of us have owned private homes and investment properties and John has owned and successfully managed an Airbnb as a ‘Super Host’ for a time, which he really enjoyed. John also has previous professional experience with pool care. I (Leigh) LOVE gardens and gardening and more recently spend time sitting quietly most days painting Mandalas and other pieces for a small business I am about to launch. We are more than happy to care for lawns and keep your yard neat and clean.

We have very much enjoyed the companionship of pets over the years and cared for many breeds of dogs and cats, as well as sheep, alpacas, goats, cows, chickens/ducks, wild and aviary birds and fish. Our hobbies and interests include cycling, paddling, meeting people, photography and I also like to metal detect, paint/design and crochet. We are both fit, active, reliable and honest and are happy to chat to, or meet with you.

We are very organised, neat, clean and tidy. We do our utmost to maintain homes to a high standard. We will always respect your space and make a point of properly understanding the needs of your home and animal friends in your absence.

We look forward to supporting you to the best of our ability and providing peace of mind during your time away.
