Hi and welcome to our profile! Please allow us to introduce ourselves - we are Julia & Martina.

We are an ambitious, creative couple who adore nature and connecting with animals. Both plant lovers, together our 4 green thumbs will be conscientious caretakers of your home, green space and furry family. We will ensure your animals will get the affection and attention they need. We are both keen walkers and outdoorsy types - you can rest assured your pet will get exercised and plenty of fresh air.
Growing up with animals, we understand that pets are family members and we take the responsibility of their care seriously. We are compassionate caregivers, whose days are brightened up by the rewarding companionship that pets offer.
We are both non-smokers and clean and tidy house guests. We are communicative and respectful, and happy to send regular updates, videos and photos via text or WhatsApp messages. Please reach out with any questions and thanks for your consideration.

Why sitting?
We house and pet sit as it allows us to enjoy the company of animals whilst we don’t have our own (yet!) We are currently saving up to visit our families overseas and the temporary accommodation that sits offer greatly helps us towards our savings goal!

Our experience:
In the past we have enjoyed house and dog sitting offline and through MadPaws, and loved the experience of providing pets stimulation, fun and comfort while their family are away.
Martina has cared for animals including farmland, fish, birds, cats and dogs. She has experience with post-surgical care and administering medication to vulnerable animals, and has a special interest in training dogs.
Julia has cared for animals throughout childhood and as an adult. Her experience is with dogs, cats and birds. In the past she has cared for dogs with blindness and dental issues requiring brushing.

A little more about us:
Julia is a rural kid who moved to Brisbane from Bundaberg to pursue music. She spent summers working at farms and plant nurseries and enjoys garden work. Employed in the arts, she worked around Brisbane and Moreton Bay, and has moved back to her hometown in Bundaberg, to spend time with her family, and working in the Art Gallery.
Growing up in Brisbane, Martina is a city girl turned bushie. Martina would while hours away as a kid in the barn on her grandfather’s farm in Slovenia. Martina is an artist with an amazing eye for detail, whose artwork is hugely inspired by the beauty and wildness of the natural world. Read more...
