Hi - my name's Kellie. I'm a teacher and Internal Family Systems therapist, and I'm looking for a house sit in the Kuranda / north Cairns / northern beaches region.

We own our home in Mackay but currently live in Kuranda for my son (Ari) to attend the local Steiner school here. We don't want to house sit too far away from this area during school time. Ari is articulate and a reader.

We have a dog, Digby who is a border collie cross, and luckily a lazy one. He's eight now. He's fixed and isn't a digger or a jumper, and if there is another dog around he'll love that very much as he's very social. He's the chillest, loveliest natured dog (everyone says so - therapy dog type). We have a cat as well (inside) so he knows cats and gets along with cats who don't mind dogs.

I'm very good with gardens - I know what I'm doing, so it's no problem maintaining your garden if / when it doesn't rain.

I'm the responsible, quiet, bohemian-type who likes a quiet strum, reading, and being in nature. We are happy not to eat meat in your home if you are vegetarian or vegan (we are mostly pescetarian). We are open to discussion if you are conscious of what you put in your fridge.

I understand the attachment pets have (especially dogs) to their owners, and I will always do my best to ensure that your pet feels secure and cared for in your absence - even if photos / FaceTime videos are needed! ?

I don't mind taking dogs for walks, to the beach / swimming hole, or to the dog park. Just let me know what your pet likes best.

My son and I enjoy being in nature - we like identifying the local birds, frogs and butterflies.
