I am a healthy, active, non-smoking, single 62 y.o. self-employed woman who loves to travel. I coach others to achieve their life goals, whilst I travel, achieving mine. I am also a writer.

Outside of sitting family and friends homes, I first house sat in early 2020 for 1 month, 2 cheeky ginger cats on the beautiful Dalmatian coast, in Croatia, as well as the owners home and 3 holiday units.

I had the intention of doing more travel and house sits. However, we all know what happened to travel in 2020. My plans were then thwarted again by living with and caring for my aging mother.

I am now ready to get back on the road, to see our fabulous Oz and experience new places and lovely people.

I've grown up with cats, dogs and farm animals around. Once, I helped my sister deliver a goat that was stuck. My kids went through pet cockatiels, rats, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, fish, dogs and a snake. So I am comfortable with animals and they are with me. Even when climbing with the Mountain Gorillas in the Congo, one of them tapped me on the shoulder. The guides hadn't seen that before.

I love the outdoors, and getting my feet in the dirt, forest or the sand and the sea. I even have a go at surfing.

I cared for the family in-ground pool as a kid and managed my grandmothers pool and huge gardens when she was unable to.

When staying in other's homes I am very repectful, that I am a guest and privilaged to be entrusted with the responsiblity of something so precious. Especially when the pets are left behind. I pay particular attention to how the home is kept, and ensure it stays that way.

Having spent many years working in hospitality in 5 star hotels, I understand a high level of housekeeping.

Being single for a long time, I am very independent and a bit of a fixit, handywoman. I have a full-licence (LR) and can drive auto or manual cars.
