**About Me:**
Hi, I’m Mengxi! Thanks for stopping by and reading a little about me.

I was a teacher in China for two and a half years before coming to Australia as a backpacker. That was almost nine years ago, and now I’m lucky to call this place home, I hold Australian Permanent Residency Visa. I work as a Visual Art and Chinese teacher in a secondary school in Fitzroy North.

I have a German Shepherd puppy, Momo. He’s currently staying with his dad since we recently separated, and we’re working out a schedule that’s best for him because he means the world to me. I normally take care of my dog during the weekend and take him for camping. Once I'm settled with my own house, he will be living with me more.

I’ve always loved animals and have a lot of pet-sitting and house-sitting experience— I cared for my friends' house and dogs and cats many times in the past few years. I also did petsitting and housesitting from mindahome website. Please kindly see my reviews. Animals, forests, and the ocean are all things that bring me peace. In my free time, I like to draw, play guitar and read. I have a very close circle of friends and we meet up often.

People say I’m friendly, easygoing, and positive (big hugs to them for that). I’m also clean, responsible, and always on time.
