I'm a single, quiet, non smoking 49yr old, who enjoys hanging out with animals as opposed to people ha ha. I enjoy open spaces, country air, kayaking, fishing, gardening & exploring anything & everything our country has to offer. Bushwalks, waterfalls, lookouts, tourist spots.
Over the years I've owned goats, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, parrots & fish. But my biggest love is cows. I can sit with them for hours. I'm currently in the process of looking for my own property so I can have animals again and hopefully get some of my own.
I am familiar with dog training, having helped my sister (a vet nurse) teach classes many years ago.
I currently work as a miner and live out at Moranbah, QLD, working 7/7 as a truck driver. I also help out a bus company, doing a few hours on my days off, driving miners to and from Mackay as well as their workplace, which in turns helps me out financially.
I'm very reliable & trustworthy & have house and doggie sat for friends in the past. (See Cookie their doggie in my pic). My current living arrangement is house minding for a friend while she works in N.T. It's helping me out in the process as well.
Due to saving for my own home & trying to save money, I stay home as much as possible and therefore lead a quiet life. However, I would love a get away now and then, a change of scenery and some animal therapy as I call it would be great.
