Hi there, we’re Lisette and Dan :)

We are in our early 30s and recently moved from Melbourne to Sydney. While we are looking for a permanent place in Sydney, we are living with friends, family and housesit.

Lisette is from Germany and moved to Australia in mid-2019. Loves to travel, having lived in a few places around the world so far, including: New Zealand, The Netherlands, Spain and China.

Dan is Australian/Norwegian and grew up mostly in Sydney, before moving to Melbourne in early 2020. Some of my favourite things to do include: skiing, sailing, hiking and travelling.

We’re both easy going people, enjoy getting outside for an adventure to explore our surroundings. We always make sure that we're respectful of other peoples' property and always treat the places we stay as if it was our own and how we would want someone to treat it.

We both absolutely love being around and looking after animals plus seeing new places. Hence, why we love the house sitting model!

We have both grown up with animals, from our own pets (dogs, cats, fish and mice) to friends’ and families‘, plus doing house sitting for friends and family too. Dan has also spent time looking after farms and has cared for chickens, ducks, horses, sheep, cows and working dogs etc.

Currently we don’t have any animals of our own so we’re always on the lookout for pet sitting opportunities. We regularly look after families', friends' and neighbours' pets at our place.

We're both able to work from home, which has made it really easy for us to spend more time at home and be able to look after animals.
