Hi, we are a small family of four ( myself 41, my husband 48 and our boys 4 and 6 years) visiting my husband’s home country again in early 2026 (Feb-March). He grew up on the Sunshine Coast, but we moved to Canada 15 years ago. We will be back in Oz for our annual family visit. We are staying near Nambour with family, but would love to do some trips even close by this time and also just give each other breaks and space during our extended stay. We are looking at doing some house/pet sits around the area and even a bit further afield. We did the same last year for the first time and fell in love with it.
We are very reliable, honest and clean. Yes we do have two young boys with us, and they do know to respect other peoples property and pets. Sadly, our beloved 14 year old beagle passed away in August this year, and we miss her dearly. The boys both grew up around her and know to respect an animals’ space. But also it would be great to look after someone else’s furbaby since we don’t have our own anymore. Both boys have been around animals since birth and are very gentle with them. Especially my little guy LOVES all animals and if anything will smother them with his love and cuddles. We love all animals from dogs, to cats, horses, fish and more.
We have house and farm sat in the past in Canada and Australia and are familiar with most animals and have great references from each place.

My husband is a maintenance supervisor in Canada looking after a 100+ unit senior living complex including grounds and all other aspects. I worked until very recently for the local hospital foundation raising funds for healthcare and am looking to retrain towards Education Assistance for our local elementary school kids.
We pride ourselves in being very clean and tidy and will leave your sanctuary in at least the same if not better state than at arrival.
