Hi my name is Michaela, I'm a professional pet lover with 10 years of pet sitting experience. I have gained experience through volunteer work and pet sitting for family, friends and Pawshake clients. I spent a year working as a volunteer for the Spca, working with the dogs and puppies there. My time at the SPCA gave me exposure to many different types and temperaments of dog. This enabled my confidence to grow around dog handling. I have grown up on a small farm surrounded by pets of all sizes, from horses to rabbits and cats. I also have experience working with animals of all kinds. I love taking dogs down to the beach, and around the dog-friendly parks!
My partner and I are both support workers who have recently moved to Brisbane from New Zealand, we will be house sitting as a couple as we set up our lives over here. We both love animals however our current home in Brisbane doesn't allow pets. It’s been a big change not living with animals, so we look forward to any time we are needed.
