Hi there! We’re Rae and Siggie – animal lover, and dedicated house-sitters ready to give your home and pets A LOT of care and affection!

I'm Rae - I’m 33 years old who has moved up from Melbourne to the Northern Rivers a few months ago. My travels have taken me across Europe, South America, Southeast Asia, and Australia, filling my life with diverse cultures and experiences. As the eldest of four, I developed a strong sense of responsibility and a deep empathy for others, so taking care of homes, pets, and people comes naturally. I've also lived with a golden retriever and a beautiful black cat for over 5 years (they belonged to former house mates). I work full-time for a children’s charity and have an up-to-date Working with Children Check. In my free time, I love to cook, paint, practice yoga, go on long hikes, and try my hand at just about any water sport. House sitting gives me the best of both worlds—adventure and the chance to bring peace and stability to the homes I’m entrusted with. Now, let me introduce Siggie, the other half of our animal-loving duo! Siggie is a nurse with an unending well of kindness and a soft spot for any creature. Born and raised in beautiful Tasmania, she brings a warmth and care that instantly makes animals feel at ease. Basically, if there’s a dog around, that’s the day’s agenda sorted—she’s going to make a new friend and might even plan an impromptu walk or a cuddle session. We’ve learned to build extra time into our travels in case Siggie sees a friendly face along the way. Siggie loves to cook and is an avid hiker, and we met at a yoga retreat where we bonded over our mutual love for the outdoors. Together, we’ve done a number of long-distance hikes, so we’re comfortable with the quiet side of nature and thrive on fresh air and sunshine. Read more...
