Long term former NSW broad acre farmers. Quiet and respectful. Non-smokers. Non pet owners. We completed 13 house sits around Perth and the SW between Oct 2023 and July 2024, before helping a family friend with a house renovation, then went to work on a farm for the harvest. Looking to stay within a 1 hour maximum radius of Perth for the time being.
Mark has a wealth of knowledge - mechanical, fencing, pumps & poly, welding & fabricating, stock work, machinery operation, truck driving and it goes on. Lynne, wife of 49 years, is also very capable with machines and trucks, mowers etc. and can turn her hand to anything. Very tidy. Actually really likes housekeeping and gardening. During our many farm sits and house sits in the recent past, we've cared for horses, cattle, sheep, dogs, cats, chooks, ducks, birds, fish and even a lizard. We are on the road full time in our CARAVAN, which is 9m long and 3.3m high. If you’d like us to stay in your house then we’d need an appropriate area to park it , with no power necessary. Or to set it up if you’d prefer us to live in our van, with power, water and access to a toilet only. We’d love to give you a break and come to look after your place and pets/animals for you.
