Mature, responsible, tidy, non smoking ,retired couple.
Hi I am Julie and my husband is Roy.
We are retired from our jobs in the Commonwealth Public Service.
We are based in Adelaide where we own our own family home. We love travelling and pet sitting.
Our last 15 months have been spent housesitting in various locations.
We usually do longer housesits for 3,4 weeks .
In VIC. Hawthorn East we housesat while a couple went to Italy for their daughter’s wedding. We looked after Bailey their 12 year old female cavoodle who loved her walks and eating broccoli and cauliflower!
Another one in Bentleigh East Vic. while the owners went overseas we looked after 8 year old male German Shepherd Jarvis . Jarvis loved playing tug of war with her knotted rope with us.
Then we were off to Nambucca Heads NSW to a small farm and looked after a beautiful border collie Jack, 1 rooster, 6 hens and a worm farm. Jack loved rounding up the chooks with us each night. We loved the fresh eggs.
In SA we spent 4 weeks on a Marina Property and looked after Lucy Rose a 4 year old Blue Heeler while her owners went on a cruise. Lucy loved fetching her toy and enjoyed walks on a nearby beach.
In Unley South Australia we stayed in a town House for three weeks while the owners went to Europe and looked after Gorgeous Alfie and Charlie, 5 year old Cavachons who just loved cuddles and company.
We have recently completed our first repeat housesit looking after Jarvis at Bentleigh East. We went to Newmerella VIC for 4 weeks for our last housesit to look after Pearl ( Whippet) and Piffy (greyhound) . Pearl was a rescue dog and very timid her owners were worried how she would get on. She loved chasing the Frizby and settled with us within a day, even coming to us for pats. It was a lovely 30 acre property. We looked after the chooks, watered the plants, took the dogs for regular walks and even had time for fishing on the snowy river estuary on the property (Pearl came with us) which the owners said she has never done with them.
