Hi my name is Maureen and I have lived with my husband Tony, in our home on 5 acres in Mount Helena for the last 30 years.. We are a retired older couple, who, although we are finding certain things more difficult now, we still love travel, meeting people and pottering around in our garden. I also love writing stories for adults and children, which I now have plenty of time to do.
We have one daughter who lives in Sydney and a son in Rockingham nearPerth.
TONY and I have been well travelled over the years, mainly Europe and have done several house/pet sits in Dorset England, where we originally come from and have excellent references. It is ironic, that only 5 years ago just before covid hit, that our last house sit was caring for a gorgeous Highland terrier named Monty who we absolutely adored looking after for 6 delightful weeks. Monty loved his walks and went everywhere with us as he also liked going out in the car.
We are now looking to downsize our large propert y in Mount Helena, but due to the current market in Perth, we are finding it difficult to achieve, without selling our house first. As such we are looking for a house/and or pet sit sit for roughly 3 months to enable us to achieve our goal in relative comfort. Hope that we can make an arrangement. Read more...
