Hi we are a married couple (Stef and Mike) who are in our 60’s who are fit and active. We have just returned from hiking the Appalachian Trail in the US and are about to embark on knocking over our house and rebuilding. This leaves us free for the next year or so to house sit and look after your house and pets as if they were our own.

While we have looked after friend’s houses and pets before while they have gone on holidays, this will be our first venture into doing it for others.

We have experience with large dogs, having had our own Rhodesian Ridgeback dog for many years. Mike has also grown up with cats as my mother used to give a home to any abandoned cats in the neighbourhood. We are also experienced in administering medication to pets, if that is required.

We are quite active and run regularly and are experienced in running dogs for exercise or if your dog is in its senior years and would prefer to walk we are equally happy to take your dog for a walk.

Mike is experienced in lawn mowing and garden care. Stef is an avid gardener and will miss her garden while the builders are at work and will competently look after your garden if necessary.

Stef is retired and I am semi-retired with some casual school teacher. So we are around to both keep an eye on your house and to look after your pets like they are our own, while you are enjoying your time away. Read more...
