OUR EXPERIENCE-
Wes and I have pet and house-sat many times now since being married. We have previously enjoyed looking after active and energetic border collies, an older coolie dog and a couple of cuddly and sometimes anxious whippets who loved company. We have recently finished a long house-sit on a lovely property where we took care of 8 hunting dogs, 30 chickens, goats and sheep. This was quite an awesome experience for us living in the hills and embracing the morning and evening routine of taking care of everything. We managed the dogs with their different needs and responded to the various situations that arose. We are also both very passionate about gardening and in our previous granny flat, we transformed the landlord's garden with natives and veggie patches/pots galore.

ABOUT US-
Wesley and I are both dog lovers and garden enthusiasts. We enjoy spending our time with family and friends, travelling within Australia and internationally and being outdoors whether hiking, going on walks, or surfing. I am very keen on trail running, which Wes has yet to catch onto, haha! Wes is definitely way more experienced than me in the garden. He is very passionate about native plants/species as he has been working as a conservation officer doing native seed collection, revegetation and weed control in SA for the last few years. Loving the outdoors whether walking or running and with my studies based at home, keeping your pet company and active while you are away would be lovely! As I said before, I am currently studying part-time and in the final year of a Youth Work degree whilst also working a couple of days at outdoor campsites facilitating adventure-based activities with young people. It is my passion to see young people who come from challenging backgrounds be able to thrive no matter their past. I see the outdoors as an incredibly therapeutic and empowering context for this to take place and look forward to furthering my experience of this work in the future.

OUR WHY-
This year, Wes and I are in a position where we want to housesit within SA as we look to live and travel abroad next year. We love to experience new places, meet new people and care for animals and gardens, so this is a unique opportunity in our lives where we aren't tied down and can be available for this. We would take our role seriously in looking after your home and/or pets so that you can have a lovely time away with peace of mind about everything at home! So if you would like to meet up, we are happy to come your way and have a chat!
