Retired x child care /community liaison officer, with now too large home in Brisbane where my builder son is house sitting the beautiful war service house, we renovated. Have previously been an owner of a variety of pets particularly dogs n a cat and happily looked after my family’s pets, grandchildren, and sometimes while they’re away their abode/farm. Not really into a herd of cows though. I currently have no pets as it’s easier when travelling in my self contained campervan around Australia in particular visiting national parks for their amazing scenery and walks. However, enjoy the variety of characters, personalities, of others pets as well as the sensation of therapeutic petting, and the joy in receiving same. Non smoker and drinker, physically fit, house proud, keen gardener, interested in local history and like you, appreciate getting out and enjoying life when the opportunity arises. A pic and of a recent house sit pooch that loved to turn around a simple pat into a forever game. Border collie Patch, had mega energy which I enthusiastically and religiously walk him to the dog park twice a day, however, he would suddenly pull on his lead and while I had a variety of specified control leashes, what worked, he absolutely disliked. So, we compromised. If your dog is not leash trained, please do not consider me as I can tend to forget continual focus on your pet as the amazing variety of temperate plants are a curse for my distraction. Read more...
