I am Sarah. Nice to meet you!

My daughter & I are currently available to housesit from the 9th of Jan until May in QLD, NSW, VIC & WA. We’ve done many house sits & a few homestays in our previous travels & they’ve always been the most rewarding & memorable.

We are both animal lovers - of all kinds - & we would love to care & play with your animals while you are away. We have looked after dogs, cats, fish, turtles, chickens & goats - and would love to extend our experience to other animals too! We are happy to stay in as much as needed - just let me know your animal’s requirements & we will prioritise their needs within our day.

Also happy to collect mail, water gardens, scoop pools & give periodic updates as required.

We don't smoke or drink. We stay in in the evenings. We are often home for half the day, with only the occasional full day out - but we can always work around your needs.

We love to walk & always go for a walk every day - so walking a dog is easy to incorporate into our day.

We are very reliable, responsible & respectful - to both your animals & your home. We will treat your animals with love, kindness, care & attention. We will keep your house clean & leave it as tidy as you left it. We care for the environment so will always turn off appliances & water when not in use. We prefer fans over air conditioning so only use air conditioning if absolutely necessary... Which is rare since we enjoy hot weather. We will always lock doors & make sure your animals are secure in their correct place & fed appropriately before leaving the house.

I had a valid QLD working with children check - which includes a national police clearance - for many years. Which I let lapse last year (or maybe the year before) as I wasn’t using it.

I have a passion for travel, languages & food. I’ve studied & travelled extensively & have dabbled in learning a few languages. I studied Health Science at university (herbs & nutrition) & have studied many healing modalities over the past decade. We enjoy eating healthy & living simply & spending time in nature. I’ve travelled through Asia, Europe, Egypt & have been to a few places in the US. And recently we have spent a lot of time travelling around Australia! I love beaches & islands & hot climates, but I love new experiences most of all. I lived on an island in the Philippines for a few years - such a beautiful experience. My daughter loves travelling, learning and animals as much as I do. We are both caring, kind, honest, trustworthy & responsible.
