Hello House Owners
We are currently based on the Sunshine Coast and hinterland and there are two periods in which we are looking for house sit positions:
1) 30 January to 6 February 2026. (a 7-night sit or at least part of this time e.g. 4 or 5 days would be ok)
2) 21 February 2026 onwards (preferably longer term sits i.e. more than a week or so)

We have become valued and much sought after house sitters over the last 3 years - completing about 40 house or farm sits, mainly throughout the Sunshine Coast region, Toowoomba region and Northern NSW. Often, we are asked back to do repeat sits. We have done 6 repeat sits.

These sits vary in responsibilities but included looking after horses, dogs and cats, chooks as well as mowing, including driving zero turn mowers and keeping homes and gardens clean, tidy and in good order. Kim is a practicing Naturopath (mainly tele-health/online), health lecturer and author with 30 years' experience. Website available on request. Kim has become well practiced at looking after a variety of pets and animals and enjoys leaving your home sparkling clean. Nick was a farmer for many years, prior to a city based professional career and his experience includes caring of horses, cattle, sheep and dogs (and cats). His "2nd career" centred on trade development, assisting agribusiness exporters amongst other professional roles.

Nick and Kim are both animal lovers particularly dog lovers who take our responsibilities seriously in relation to other people's animals and property. We also have fun with the pets with plenty of play time if needed and wanted by the pets. We are non-smokers, fit and healthy.

We both believe in caring for animals in a gentle and quiet manner and we have been able to establish good relationships with all the animals we have looked after, and their owners!

Background: Throughout 2020 and 2021 we travelled Australia (since sold our van) and prior to that we were living in Maclean NSW and for many years, Brisbane.

We would prefer a Queen size bed (find a double is not big enough for 2) or if not then 2 separate beds of any sizes is fine.
