We are heading towards retirement and would like to travel and meet new people in local neighbourhood settings. As a live in Retirement Village Manager for the past seven years it has given us an insight into looking after people and their properties with respect and care. We are both still working and we think these skills (along with those learnt from home ownership) will be ideally transferable to respectfully minding people’s homes and pets while they’re away. We have recently lost our 13yo Spoodle and now occasionally get to babysit our Daughter's cavoodle which goes someway to satisfy our pet connection. We are parents to two married daughters and each has two grandchildren. We would like to visit our Newcastle (NSW) daughter and her family more often and do some house sitting while we’re at it. As mentioned earlier we are both still working and when the opportunity arises we will actively seek home sitting appointments.
