Hi!
My name is Esther. I'm a 50yr old single woman with a grown up son (he will occasionally sit with me until he joins the Army in April 2024). We are both non-smokers and non-drinkers with a love of travelling our wonderful nation.
I am house sitting because I want to move away from where I have been living for the past 10 years (Inner Wesy Sydney). I need a change! Open to anywhere in Australia and prefer sits of 2 weeks or more in order to appreciate the area. I am familiar with all breeds of dog and cat (including semi-ferals), have looked after birds, poultry and goats. I used to volunteer for the PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals) in the UK before I left for Australia, so have experience of medication and also dealing with anxiety/behavioural issues that animals have developed throughout their experiences (especially as rescues).
Friends of ours breed German Shepherds, Border Collies and Scottish Fold cats competitively so we are very able to look after large/energetic dog breeds and understand the needs for special diets for some pedigrees.
Both my son and I are clean, respectful, friendly, fit and healthy. I also enjoy gardening and love pot plants.
House sitting is something I intend to continue doing until I find my ideal place in the world, so please don't hesitate to reach out.
