We are an active, non-smoking couple who enjoy the outdoors. We love getting away in our caravan, and like to combine our van trips with some house sitting. We love animals, having had a couple of dogs as part of our family, but unfortunately we are allergic to cats. We also enjoy time in the garden. When not in the outdoors, we enjoy reading and music. Bruce loves puzzles also and Maureen loves quilting. We are both retired, Bruce having been an office worker and a truck driver and Maureen working in admin for Queensland Police. Since retirement, we have been travelling in our caravan but not permanently. We do have a home as a permanent base in Brisbane which we built nearly 40 years ago. We have successfully completed, and enjoyed, a few house sits and, for the past 7 years, have also helped out on an initially drought stricken property in NW Queensland with hand feeding cattle and whatever needs doing. We have now become good friends. References are available. We would need a place to park our van.
