We love dogs🦮 sorry, but no cats 🤧(Allergies)

We are a retired couple in our early 60’s traveling half the year with total flexibility. We will take excellent care of your home and pets while you are away in exchange for accomodations. Taking care of homes was our full time business for 15 years. We owned a successful professional organizing and handyman business that included redesign, maintenance, and management of homes and vacation rentals.
(Ask us about helping you with redesign, home organizing and handyman tasks while staying in your home, or managing your Airbnb so you can go on vacation!)
We have excellent references from 5 recent housesits in New Zealand and Australia. We also have several long term former clients that are willing to vouch for our skills and housesitting abilities.
We have experience with several home exchanges, and have 41 excellent guest reviews on Airbnb.
Dale grew up in farm country, and is familiar and comfortable with animals typically found on a hobby farm. We both enjoy dogs and gardening and swimming. (pool maintenance is not a problem for us.)
We can be flexible, but prefer a minimum of a week to housesit--longer periods are welcome. We like to meet clients and pets ahead of time, and can arrange an interview in person if possible, or meet on a video call.
We love seeing photos of your pets and hearing all about them. But, to make sure we are a good fit for the job, please give some information about who you are, and include photos of your home on your listing.

p.s. The use of a car is a really nice perk, especially if we are flying into your location specifically to care for your home. We don’t drive much while housesitting, and paying for a rental car that sits in the driveway seems silly. We both have clean driving records, are familiar with driving on the left, and can provide a ride to and from the airport.
