We are an active, homebody couple, fiercely committed to keeping a clean and calm home. We’ve been house/cat-sitting here in Brisbane since May (5 sitting jobs, and 4 others secured), while we set up and build life here. We built home together in London from 2020-25 before arriving earlier this year.

Most sitting roles have involved caring for cats across a range of ages, activity levels, need for affection/independence and house-bound/outdoor-orientedness. Katya grew up with cats, and instinctively forms quick bonds, with cats usually loving her back. We understand when to give in to a treat request, when to push back :-), are fine with early morning feeds and door openings, clean up jobs and have even dealt with prey brought inside as trophy!

We are a clean-as-you-go couple, Katya is particularly conscious of keeping things ordered and in shape as the default. We enjoy spending time outside, including gardening when time and space to do so. We’re not noise people, we’re also non-smokers and without kids or pets.

We’re sociable, but prefer to catch up with folks two at a time, so you can rest assured our focus is on keeping your home as it has come to us. We look forward to meeting you and giving us the opportunity of stewardship to care for and get to know your beloved friend and the home you’ve entrusted to us.

We are caring and capable, and have lots of experience looking after others’ homes. We get to know the areas we live in, by instinct and by practice.
