Paula and John are property owners and pet lovers from Queensland. We have recently completed four different house sits in and around Perth (3 through Aussie House Sitters) and have a current National Police Check. Paula has previously worked as a veterinary technician for 10 years, and spent the last 20 years working for Police Media as a writer and editor. John has run his own IT Networking business for the past 30 years and built his own house on our 14 acre property. John has carpentry, electrical and plumbing skills and is an all-round problem solver. Previous beloved pets include a blue heeler who was Paula's shadow and a border collie who spent 14 fun filled years rounding up the local wallabies on our property. We have also kept chickens for the past 10 years. Currently we are travelling around Australia and keen to stop every now and then to soak up the local environment. We are both capable, reliable people and having had great experiences with house sitters minding our own property, understand the expectations and responsibilities that come with the role.
