More information about this house sitter

Hi and thank you for popping by my profile : )

For the past 15 years I have been self-employed as an accommodation relief manager where I travel Australia as a locum for resorts, boutique hotels, serviced & holiday apartments and bed and breakfasts.

Last year, I purchased a motorhome and I'm continuing to combine my relief work with travel in my self-contained van.

For many years I've also house/pet sat in-between work contracts and it's something that I have always really enjoyed being able to offer free of charge. It's such a lovely thing to be able to engage in an exchange with homeowners - I get to care for your much-loved pets and in return, experience and explore a new area with somewhere either to stay or park up onsite if that suits you best.

I have a beautiful blue heeler/vizla cross dog called Monkey who is 10 years old. She's grown up in Bed & Breakfasts etc and so is super gentle, really well mannered, the meet and greet and loves absolutely everyone (there's no loyalty with dogs! : )

She's so friendly that she made the grade as a volunteer Delta therapy dog (as per my profile photo). Delta dogs visit hospitals and aged care etc to brighten people’s day, a service that is especially needed for people having left their pets at home when going into care. Monkey has also lived with farm animals and is not a dog who barks or digs.

I adore all animals and will shower yours with all the attention, walkies and cuddles they need.

I'll also look after your property with the utmost care and respect for your home. I have a police clearance and I am fully vaccinated against flu and covid. I also have a working with children and working with disability checks - which hopefully all attest to my character : )

Look to my references posted alongside my photos - you are welcome to phone them if I've formerly applied to sit for you and I will provide you with their contact details.

Please also feel very welcome to make contact with me with any questions you may have. I'm always happy to meet either in person if close by or over zoom in the first instance.

Warm regards,
Karla & Munk
