Hi and thank you for popping by my profile : )

During all of last year I had been living up in Nhulunbuy, East Arnhem NT - working as a fly-in, fly-out (from the Gold Coast) disability care worker in a remote supported independent living home.

Before this role (pre-covid) I ran my own business for 14 years as an accommodation relief manager where I travelled Australia and acted as a locum for resorts, boutique hotels, serviced apartments and bed and breakfasts. I would sometimes house-sit in between work contracts and it was something that I always really enjoyed being able to offer.

I have recently (this year) returned to my previous career of hotel management and am again available for house-sitting in between work contracts.

I have a beautiful blue heeler/vizla cross dog called Monkey who is nine. She's grown up in Bed & Breakfasts etc and so is super gentle, really well mannered, the meet and greet and loves absolutely everyone (there's no loyalty with dogs! : )

She's so friendly that she made the grade as a volunteer Delta therapy dog (as per my profile photo). Delta dogs visit hospitals and aged care etc to brighten people’s day, a service that is especially needed for people having left their pets at home when going into care.

Monkey has also lived with all manner of animals during our travels, has befriended cats and hamsters and horses and chickens at sits...and is not a dog who barks or digs or shows any aggression.

I adore all animals and will shower yours with all the attention, walkies and cuddles they need (and expect! : )

I'll also look after your property with the utmost care and respect for your home. I have a police clearance and I am fully vaccinated against flu and covid. I also have a working with children and working with disability checks - which hopefully all attest to my character : )

I have also this year purchased a motorhome and come January 2024, will be traveling/working/sitting down the East Coast (currently based on the Gold Coast working ) and I would need a space to park. I will be happy to stay in the van (as long as I have access to power and water) or within your home, whichever is your preference.
