Hello!

We are a couple, in our late thirties, and are based in Canberra, ACT. We would love the opportunity to travel outside of the region and visit other parts of Australia! In addition, we are looking for house-sits in Canberra (Weston Creek, Molonglo Valley, Woden and the Inner South) from late February through to June 2024.

We have a five-year old Cavoodle who very happily lives between our house and my parents' place (keeping my retired mother company). We'd love to take Milo on house-sits where he is invited but can also happily leave him with my parents.

We also have two well-behaved children. Our eldest is almost 7-years old, and our youngest is almost 2-years old. They adore animals and have frequently been around household pets with no issues. Ron and Pip would also like to take brief getaways as a couple (without the kids) where babysitting by grandparents can be arranged.

We both work in the public service - Ron in Defence (for the Commonwealth) and Pip at the Law Courts (for the Territory). We are honest and trustworthy people, which is evidenced by security clearances, lengthy and unblemished work history and stable employment.

We are proud, hardworking homeowners and know firsthand that your house is your biggest (and most expensive!) asset. Because of this, we pride ourselves on taking the best of care with others' property. This includes the items in them, as well as the grounds around them. Pip is a former horticulturist so your indoor plants and gardens will be in good care. Ron is handy on the tools so any slight maintenance issues that arise can be addressed promptly.

Coupled with this is our love of animals. Ultimately, we are "dog people" but are happy to look after any pets - cats, rabbits, birds, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters etc. Pip has previously owned a mini lop rabbit and has had dogs all her life. The kids are particularly fond of cats and dogs. We will feed, bathe, exercise and keep the company of your pets as you request.

We know how important it is to leave your home in good hands, so that you can enjoy your time away without any added worry. We can provide a number of glowing character and pet-sitting references for your peace of mind.
