More information about this house sitter

My family consists of my 53 year old self and my almost 14 year old son. Xander is on the autistic spectrum and very quiet. We presently live with my parents. I’d love to travel to different destinations, especially to get my son out of his comfort zone. There’s no better way to do that than in another home environment with pets. He loves animals and we already live with a groodle who he adores. He also loves horses, chickens and every other animal, as I do. Your house will be exactly the same as when you left it. I would look after your house and your beloved plants and animals as if they were my own.
I have had many different professions but have been a teacher for 18 years, currently teaching at a special education P-12 school in Gladstone Qld. I also have a 23 year old daughter who recently got married and a five month old grandson.
I love to travel but it would be made much easier with somewhere to call home, even for a short period.
I’m still looking for the perfect land to put a home on for myself and Xander and could do with having our own space, even for a short time. I have looked after my friends homes and animals when they have been away and pretty much run my parents home for them. As someone who has been a single parent for the majority of their children’s lives, I am handy in the house and garden. Free for Qld school holidays or locally in Gladstone/Calliope and surrounding areas during the school terms.
