Professional female couple who WFH

We are a couple in their 30s who work as a psychologist and university lecturer. Eda works at the University of Wollongong, but only teaches 1-2 days a week and works from home the rest of the home. Katelyn is finishing her PhD in Medicine at UNSW, and works 2.5 days a week as a clinical psychologist for kids. She works from home 2.5 days a week. This means that we are home a fair bit to keep up with home maintenance and make sure any pets are not lonely.
We live an active lifestyle, enjoying tennis and boxing. We spend most of our time at home either working or spending time with one another. Home upkeep is important to both of us, and we both prescribe to the philosophy that 'tidy home = tidy mind.'


Both Eda and Kate have taken care of cats, including older cats who require regular oral administration of medication. Eda has house-sat for dogs (her favourite assignment was a cavoodle puppy) and Kate has dog-walked for dogs (her favourite assignment was 3 rescue chihuahuas). We can provide excellent references & both have current police checks.

We have lived in varied housing arrangements in Sydney for over a decade. After years of living in sharehouses and renting, it is our dream to someday own a home. Despite our double professional income, this dream has proven difficult to reach, so we are seeking longer house sits that will allow us to save up enough money to finally take that next step to buy a place ourselves.

Our communication style is collaborative and as frequent as you like, and we are seasoned pet-sitters and animal-lovers who know how important it is to provide frequent updates!

We are both intelligent problem-solvers, and quite handy, and are therefore equipped to deal with most issues that arise in the home. :) Both are experienced with lawn, garden and pool care, and we both drive so can take pets that need walking to close by parks if necessary. Read more...
