Hi!
My name is Tim and I am a neat and tidy 43 year old Australian who predominantly works from home. I absolutely love cats and dogs and miss spending time with them. I raised my adorable Mini-Cavoodle from a puppy, so I understand the responsibilities of being a primary care-giver to a pet, including administering medication. I also grew up with cats and a budgie in our family home in Adelaide. I do enjoy a bit of gardening too, so am willing and able to take care of watering plants and general garden tidying.

Most importantly - your pet's care is of primary concern for you while you are away. Rest assured that I have the time, dedication, love and patience to follow all care/feeding/exercise instructions for your fur baby's. I can give that extra level of care considering that I WFH 90% of the time. Also I am happy to take photos/videos and/or do video calls with them :)

Although I call Melbourne home, my freelance work takes me overseas a lot, and so I am not in the country all the time. In mid-2023 I chose a lifestyle where I am not in a residential lease, which gives me flexibility to come and go to Melbourne when I desire/need. I experienced housesitting/petsitting for friends and really enjoyed it, hence why I signed up to this site. I have now completed several housesits via this site, with reviews available. Also below are references from housesits from outside of this website.

I enjoy house sitting because I like to see different parts of Melbourne, and it fits in with my lifestyle as I work from home. I’m looking to housesit in blocks of 4-15 days in a comfortable home so that I can be productive in my WFH duties. Another benefit of petsitting is that I can have lovely animal(s) to keep me company, as I'm not one to invite people over or have gatherings out of respect of the home owners.

My values for staying as a guest in other people's homes (both housesitting & AirBnB's) are that I:
- Give pets the love and care I know they need
- Treat and care for all property as if it were my own
- Respect and be kind to all neighbours
- Leave things the same (or better) as I found them
- Report any damage, as small as it may be
I do pride myself on these values.

A bit about me - I'm a very happy, active and outgoing person who enjoys life, travel and sport. I love kitesurfing in the summer, and gym all year round, as well as running, yoga and meditation. I’m into a healthy lifestyle, enjoy cooking, am a non-smoker and minimal alcohol drinker. I currently have no pets of my own due to travelling lifestyle.
