Hello!

My name is Liz and I'm a professional medical writer, returning to Sydney with my daughter Maya (16 years old) after 7 years living in the UK. We are both Australian citizens and currently house-sitting in Balgowlah, Sydney. We are looking for another house sitting opportunity to start any time from end September.

I own a home in the UK (in Cheshire, currently being rented), and we have completed house swaps with people in Australia and Europe, and have great references from people who's homes we stayed in.

We have decided to return to Australia now as Maya has just completed year 12, and wants to study her HSC.

I'd describe us both as caring, considerate and gentle people and we are big animal lovers; we miss our own pet (a beloved cat who is being looked after in the UK) and Maya has always wanted a dog! I love walking and happy to dog walk (I have done so in the past) I am happy to care for larger and smaller animals, and know how to horseride.

We both enjoy cooking and film and I love keeping fit, yoga, Qi Gong, and meditation. Maya is a homebody who enjoys relaxing and quiet environments. Her living space is important to her and she keeps it extremely tidy (she is slightly autistic so likes things to be neatly ordered and clean). House sitting is perfect for us as our home environment is important, and we take good care of it.
