Hi there, I'm a 50 year old single woman with two adult children who have flown the nest and after my eldest fur baby passed away in December last year of old age, I find myself with no pets and kids for the first time in, well, ever.

I recently moved to back to Perth from Melbourne to be closer to family. As its been 17 years since I last lived here, it's changed quite a bit. So a friend suggested house sitting as a way to spend some time in different areas to suss out where I feel might be a good fit. It's also an opportunity for me to care for some fur babies as I must admit I find myself at a loss with noone to take care of since losing my old Tom cat last year.

As I only landed here just over a week ago, I'm not currently working but am looking for casual/part time employment in the community services sector.

However, this means I am available pretty much immediately and for short, medium or long term depending on what you need.

I'm quiet, introverted, clean (some might say OCD, I say clean and highly organised) and house trained. Lots of experience caring for pets and having grown up on a farm, also experienced in looking after chooks, ducks, sheep, goats, horses etc. Enjoy gardening and will ensure all your plants not only survive but thrive during your time away as well.

Although have only had cats , dogs and, rabbits and rats as pets, I genuinely love all animals and if given clear instructions for their care, I am happy to care for your snake, lizard, bird or any other exotic animal you might call family.

My partying days (what there were of them) are well and truly over. These days my idea of a good time is curled up on the couch with a cat or dog on my lap, a book in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. Sometimes I go really wild and may even have a podcast on in the background.

I come with a National Police Clearance, Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check as well as professional and personal references.
