Hello there!

We are Raquel and Carlos, a loving couple with a passion for adventure, travel, and creating wonderful memories. Our unique blend of backgrounds - Raquel from Spain and Carlos from Colombia - brought us together on the Sunshine Coast three years ago, and we've been inseparable ever since.

The world may have slowed down due to Covid, but our love for exploration hasn't wavered. Instead of traditional travel, we've decided to embark on a different kind of adventure - house sitting. We believe that every home has its own story to tell, and we're excited to be a part of yours. We're new to the platform, but not to house-sitting. We've had amazing experiences house-sitting and met incredible people and pets that we can call friends now.

Carlos is the stability-loving rock in our partnership, while Raquel thrives on change and new experiences. This balance makes us a dynamic duo, ready to adapt to any situation with grace and enthusiasm. We've explored every corner of Australia, but the Sunshine Coast holds a special place in our hearts.

Our shared love for camping, animals, and nature means that we'll treat your home and furry friends with the utmost care and respect. Long walks are a favourite pastime of ours, especially when accompanied by a furry companion. Raquel, in particular, has a deep affection for cats, having had them as her lifelong companions. She's also an avid learner and reader, constantly seeking new knowledge.

We both value mindfulness and appreciate a tranquil, well-organised environment. Carlos's interests include reading, traveling, and savouring delicious cuisine, which means you can expect some delectable meals when we're in your home.
We want to emphasise that we are non-smokers and non-drinkers, and we are not party people.

Our house-sitting journey began as a way to save for our dream - taking each other to our respective homelands and exploring the rich cultures, landscapes, and flavours of Spain and Colombia. Every house we sit is a step closer to realising that dream.

We've had the pleasure of house sitting with and without pets, and both experiences have been incredibly rewarding. Whether it's keeping your pets happy and healthy or maintaining the pristine condition of your home, you can trust us to handle every responsibility with care and dedication.
