Hello!

I’m Nicole and I’d love to babysit your pet, your house and your plants 🐕

I’m a medical professional and I love what I do. I’ve been a sonographer for 15 years and am looking to do some locum work while travelling around Australia over the next year.

I’m an all-round animal lover with a soft spot for large active dogs. My best friend of 12 years was a Golden Retriever named Maverick. Now that he’s passed on, I’ve got so much love to share with your precious pets. Whether your dog likes a morning hike before breakfast or quick stroll to get a puppuccino, I’m down to meet your pup where they’re at on their fitness journey and give them so much attention while you’re away. Or maybe you have a cat that needs company, a flock of chickens that need supervising, a goldfish that needs its water changed – whatever creature you share your house with I’m super keen to get to know them. I’ve lived in both regional and metropolitan areas, so I’m just as comfortable looking after inner-city apartments with strict body corp rules as I am sitting a house without a neighbour in sight. I’ve always been house proud, so you can rest assured that your abode will be well looked after – no plastic in the dishwasher, power points off when not using them, bins out (and back in!) on schedule. Any house quirks or rules I’m happy to abide by!

I’m also a plant lover so you can head on your holiday safe in the knowledge that you’ll come home to lush looking greenery, just as you left it. I’m a stickler for a good watering schedule and will follow yours to the letter. I won’t touch your snake plant that can survive forever and a day without a drop of water and give your fiddle leaf fig that extra TLC it probably needs. I can also maintain your gardens and lawn if needed!

Having lived in Melbourne for the past 9 years (and spent a lot of time inside in lockdowns recently!) I’m very keen to get out and explore. I’d love to hear of your favourite café, restaurant, place to spend time outdoors – any hidden local gems I’d be sorry to miss – so I can check them out while I’m staying.

As someone who has previously hired house/pet sitters, I know how much your pets, your plants and your house mean to you, so I’m more than happy to keep you updated with regular photos and check ins.
