Hi there, my name is Rebecca, an Irish ex-pat, and I currently work as a youth worker; my husband's name is Ryan and he is a home care worker. We are both friendly, outgoing people who love the simple things in life, like going to the beach or spending time with family.

Together we have 3 beautiful children, one Sprocker Spaniel and a couple of fish.

We are currently going through a separation. We are in a good place and we are trying to keep it amicable and friendly, and want to cause as little disruption to the kids (and dog) as possible.

We are doing "The Birds Nest Separation" where the kids (and the dog) stay in the family home while we come and go week on/week off. It saves the kids the trauma of having to move between houses all the time. We hoping to make it work until the end of our lease (Jan 2026).
Financially we cannot afford to rent/buy another property right now, and we have no family in the area that can help us. We are hoping to secure some long-term house-sittings where we can both take turns house sitting the space on our "week off".

I know it seems like a strange scenario but we are respectable people who are simply trying our best to cause as little harm to our kids as possible. We both work full time, and I sometimes work from home. We are clean, tidy, animal-loving people who will great care of your house, gardens and pets.
