I have retired, and now enjoy a new flexibility in my life. This includes extended travel both inside and outside of Australia.
I grew up in regional NSW, in small country towns and on farms. I love animals, and have had many dogs, cats, birds etc over the years. I am physically active, and can guarantee good walks for any dogs in my care. I like to engage with animals I care for - talking to them and including them in whatever is going on as much as possible.
I am a homeowner, and am comfortable with day to day maintenance, cleaning and enjoy gardening. I have started a couple of gardens from scratch and find being outside relaxing.
I am new to the site, however, I have been doing house sits for my extended network over the last few years. This has usually included caring for pets, which I love, and has included longer term sits.
I am a clean and tidy person, am not a smoker, and am happy reading, walking, spending time in nature, birdwatching, gardening, baking, trying new recipes, and learning new things.
I am able to provide references, and a clean police record check as required.
